Rapid Pain Relief from Oral Mucositis (Mouth Sores or Ulcers)

How can Gelclair® help?

Gelclair® is a viscous gel specially formulated to aid in rapidly relieving the pain of mouth sores and ulcers associated with oral mucositis.

Oral mucositis is the inflammation of the mouth with painful sores and ulcers. This often occurs in people getting chemotherapy or radiation treatment.

Gelclair® works by forming a protective film barrier that adheres to the lining of the mouth. It covers and protects the nerve endings that cause pain. This stops irritation and reduces pain. Gelclair® also hydrates or keeps moisture in the tissue.

Gelclair® is available as a gel for dilution with water.

In clinical studies, Gelclair® effectively treated mouth pain and provided rapid relief that helped patients eat and drink more easily.

A clinically proven, convenient and easy to use gel:

  • Fast pain relief
  • Improves a person’s ability to eat, drink, swallow, and speak1-2
  • Reduces the need for analgesics/opiates1-2
